The Bendigo Regional HR Network organising committee is very pleased to announce that the HR Network has recently become a chapter of Be.Bendigo.
Working together, Be.Bendigo and the HR Network will be able to provide greater opportunities for local businesses to increase their knowledge and skills in HR and people management.
We will continue to bring you high quality speakers on a range of interesting and informative topics to help you manage the challenges associated with employing staff.
We are grateful to Dennis Bice, CEO, his team and the Be.Bendigo Board for this wonderful opportunity to secure the future of our HR Network. We are excited to now be aligned with such a well-respected organisation within Bendigo and central Victoria, who like us, are focused on growing the local economy by supporting businesses of all sizes through networking and education events.
Be.Bendigo CEO Dennis Bice said “We are delighted to have the Bendigo Regional HR Network as part of the Be.Bendigo group. This is a great opportunity for the Bendigo Regional HR Network and Be.Bendigo to continue to provide support, knowledge and information for our regional businesses. Working with the Bendigo Regional HR Network will be a key focus to deliver training and development programs that provide increased skills and capacity of Bendigo businesses and organisations”.
So what will change? We are looking forward to moving to a new venue, The All Seasons on McIvor Road, where there is ample free parking and first class facilities. Apart from a change in location, you can still expect to be invited to 4-5 free events each year by our organising committee, focused on improving your knowledge of HR and people management.
Our LinkedIn page will continue to keep you up to date with our events and those of Be.Bendigo and allow you to network with fellow HR practitioners and people managers. Our name and email address will remain unchanged. If you are not already connected, we encourage you to join our LinkedIn page to keep up to date on our latest news and posts from fellow members of the HR Network. And to find out more about the great work of Be.Bendigo and how they support local businesses, please visit their website.
Save the date! Our next event will be held on Thursday 26th March from 3-5pm on Diversity, Access and Inclusion in the Workplace at the All Seasons. Presented by Hayden Nelthorpe, from Bendigo Health, this event is being held during the Bendigo Pride Festival and aims to raise awareness about cultural humility, access and inclusion so workplaces can develop, implement or enhance their own diversity and inclusion programs. More details to follow shortly.
We look forward to seeing you at our future events.
